What does the Trading Account offer?
The Trading Account offers online and telephone dealing, with shares held electronically on your behalf through our Nominee Service. Your trades are automatically settled with funds either being credited to, or debited from your account.
You can invest in UK equities, gilts, bonds, investment trusts, unit trusts, OEICs & Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs).
If you would like to trade internationally or in Securitised Derivatives including covered warrants, you should consider the Trading Plus Account.
How much does it cost?
Online trading is a simple flat fee of £12.50, or just £9.95 online when you trade more than 10 times in the preceding calendar months.
We do make an Account Management Fee of £10+VAT per quarter - not on ISA or SIPP accounts and only on accounts that have not traded or have a cash and/or stock valuation of less than £5,000.
Dealing Features
- Price Improvement - we automatically poll a number of market makers to obtain the best price available in the market at the time of trading your shares. This may provide an improved price than the one being quoted by the market.
- Flexible order types - market, limit, fill or kill and stop loss. Limit your potential losses with limit and stop loss orders by stating the price you wish to achieve before trading or specifying an exit point.
- Personal Trading Levels - trade immediately without the need for funds in your account until settlement date (subject to status).
- Extended trading settlement - take a longer look at the market before settling up.
